Our Story
VGP Consulting Group was founded on a simple belief: the success of every project begins with the people behind it.
After building a career across client relations, creative leadership, marketing, and project consulting, founder Vanessa Garcia discovered that regardless of the industry, the same principle always held true—organizations perform at their best when communication is clear, teams are connected, and people are empowered to succeed.
While supporting complex capital improvement projects throughout California's construction industry, she recognized an opportunity that often goes unnoticed. Behind every successful project is a network of project support professionals coordinating information, managing documentation, facilitating communication, tracking progress, and helping teams remain aligned from planning through closeout.
These roles are rarely in the spotlight, yet they are often the foundation that keeps projects moving forward.That realization became the inspiration behind VGP Consulting Group.
Rather than building another traditional consulting firm, Vanessa envisioned a boutique firm dedicated to elevating project support as a professional discipline—one that provides project management support, project controls support, design coordination, and construction administration through a collaborative, people-first approach.
Today, VGP Consulting Group exists to strengthen project teams by becoming an extension of the organizations we serve. We believe exceptional project delivery isn't achieved by one individual or one discipline alone. It is built through trust, communication, thoughtful coordination, and the collective effort of people working toward a shared goal.
As VGP continues to grow, that vision remains unchanged: to support the people behind successful projects and help clients deliver work that leaves a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

A Message from the Founder
VGP Consulting Group was founded on the belief that successful projects begin with strong people, trusted relationships, and a commitment to serving others.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I was inspired by their determination, resilience, and willingness to create opportunities—not only for themselves, but for those around them. That entrepreneurial spirit shaped my own journey and has always fueled my passion for helping others achieve great things.
As a first-generation Mexican American, I was fortunate to become the first in my family to pursue higher education, build a career in the corporate world, and establish a path in the construction industry. Those experiences continue to inspire and fuel the culture we're building at VGP.
My hope is that we will be known not only for the projects we help deliver, but for the trust we earn and the lasting impact we leave on every team we have the privilege to serve.
